Welcome to Zion Lutheran Church, located in the small southwest Montana town of Whitehall. Here you will find the scripture teaching, Bible believing church that you have been seeking. Join us as we each strive to walk in His ways.

OUR BELIEFS

Our teachings are rooted firmly and inextricably in the Holy Scriptures. We believe the Bible, not the soundbites that society provides and calls "Christianity". Walking the path set before us in this world isn't easy, and so we strive to hold up ourselves and each other. Zion Lutheran Church is built on the absolute truth that each and every one of us is in need of the saving grace that comes from confessing Christ as our Lord and Savior.

SERVICES & PROGRAMS

Our schedule includes Sunday services, Sunday Bible studies, Thursday Bible studies, Lenten soup suppers, and mid-week Advent services. We are actively working on identifying the needs of our congregants and community at large and exploring how we can better serve the congregation, Whitehall community, and beyond. We would love to have you become a part of the Zion family.

We are working to create a place of community, where we can increase our wisdom and strengthen our relationships with the Father while finding connection, joy, and support from each other as a family of believers. We are dedicated to providing meaningful opportunities for greater understanding of our purpose in His Kingdom through study, community service, and collective outreach. Join us!

Special Notice:
February 1, 2026 there will be no 8:30 AM Sunday Service, and no Bible study. Zion Lutheran Church will have the privilege of installing our new pastor, Reverend Gideon Pullmann, at 4:00 PM that day as we also join parishes with Faith Lutheran Church in Boulder. A reception meal will be held in the Parish Hall immediately following. Please join us!
